Outdoor-Fit Exercise Systems, manufacturers and suppliers of the Helios outdoor multi-gym, is pleased to announce its award of a General Services Administration (GSA) contract number GS03F0003X.
The terms and conditions of this contract are extended to all US Federal Agencies and all branches of the US Armed Services.
The Helios is designed to accommodate up to 4 people exercising simultaneously on the same unit. Each station on the multi-gym was replicated from commercial grade fitness equipment and is biomechanically identical in most respects. The unit is designed to target every major muscle of the body via real body weight resistance exercises. Coupled with the fact that the multi-gym is designed to withstand the effects of the harshest North American climates, and you have an entirely new fitness concept: genuine fitness training exercises outside! The unit is designed to accommodate most fitness levels from ages 13 to 99.
"This is without question one of the most appealing ways to exercise outside," says Chris Tremblay, Director of Operations.
"The Helios has so many advantages to any community or coordinator looking to improve or increase on their amenities. There is no building required. One footing, minimum space and it can accommodate up to 4 people doing countless different exercises. That was one of the reasons it was installed on the USS Chancellorsville; because it didn't require any indoor space," notes Tremblay.
"Not only that, but the Helios can back up it's claims of being comparable to indoor health-club quality gear. This piece will challenge any fitness level. There are just so many options on it. I like to refer to what they describe it as at Ft. Huachuca, 'the Swiss Army Knife' of fitness equipment,'" said Tremblay.
